Vincent van Gogh, the famous painter is the most renowned painter even today. This well known painter got his popularity recognized in the world of art but it was pretty late by then. However, during his existence, people never ever knew the worth of his paintings. People never liked his art during his life. But, once he left this world, people started realizing the worth of his amazing paintings. After his demise folks started realizing the quality of his art. Peple then realized his feelings and emotions that he wanted to convey to the world. His emotions, thoughts, questions, responses all reflected so amazingly in his paintings that if a person wants to say something but is falling short of words he could simply get a painting to convey it strongly with best understanding.
Vincent was born in a Teodorus family residing in a very small village of Groot-Zundert on 30-March-1853 . His wife’s name was Anna who was formerly from Karbentus. Van Gogh was mentally disabled. All this happened mainly because of the birth of a dead child. This incident made great negative impact on Van Gogh’s mind which resulted into the loss of his mental health.
Vincent’s childhood was a quite joyful going kind since he was born and brought up in a family who was sophisicated-minded. He enjoyed with 5 siblings. Vincent was the eldest amidst them. Out of 5 siblings, four committed suicide. Vincent loved to paint pictures. This art fascinated him and therefore he decided to make this art his work when was at 16 years of his age. Initially he used to sell the paintings of other painters.
He started doing work in a European company known as Goupil who was a really well known French art supplier. He had fallen in love with Eugenie Loyer. However she refused him since she was already engaged. This fact left him in great shock and further affected his mental health. This lead in the first act of melancholy which later on turned in to a despair. This affected adversely on his work due to which was dismissed as he was found no more competent. Then he went to Amsterdam for learning theology but couldn’t pass the exam. After that he went to a missionary school in Brussels. Finishing his education he went to Borinage, Belgium. He led a poor life, just like other miners there, by staying in barracks and sleeping on dry straws. There Vincent began to paint and countless employees inspired him to do so. The art work of Jean-Fran inspired him deeply. His one of the best works is “potato-eater” which shows a theme of god-fearing, hard working folks.
However, Vincent had to face a lot of problems in life which was really tragic. However then his art of painting made him alive with full of colors and even life through his amazing and even message conveying paintings.
